About The Position

We’re looking for a Commercial Electronic Banking Support Operator to help drive the Bank’s electronic operations forward. You’ll support consumer, business, and treasury clients while working behind the scenes with reports, data, and systems that keep everything moving securely and efficiently.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 4 years of financial experience, including 2 years in electronic banking.
  • Advanced knowledge of bank products and services.
  • Exceptional customer service and consultative communication skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
  • Comfortable interacting with customers and internal partners across multiple channels.
  • Strong analytical mindset — able to resolve varied and complex problems independently.
  • Detail-oriented multitasker who thrives under pressure.
  • Self-starter who takes ownership and delivers “one-touch resolution.”
  • Sound judgment in determining when to escalate issues.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Comfortable navigating banking systems and standard office technology.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain advanced knowledge of deposit products, fee schedules, and electronic banking platforms.
  • Support consumer, business, and Treasury digital banking services and affiliate products.
  • Troubleshoot advanced technical issues across operating systems, browsers, and mobile devices.
  • Assist internal teams and customers with escalated electronic banking questions.
  • Directly support Treasury customers requiring specialized handling.
  • Recognize fraud indicators and help prevent potential losses.
  • Review reports, extracts, and business intelligence that power electronic operations.
  • Process service requests, enrollments, Treasury Services requests, and work queues.
  • Recommend improvements to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Exercise the highest level of discretion and confidentiality in all work.
  • Open and manage vendor support tickets for platform functionality or issues.
  • Perform scripted testing for quarterly updates, new products, and electronic services.
  • Stay current on Treasury services including Wire, ACH, Account Recon Positive Pay, RDC, Mobile Deposit, Merchant Services, Northrim Bank Purchase Cards, Integrated Payables, and more.
  • Complete all required compliance training on time.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of regulations, procedures, and core banking systems.
