About The Position
Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Commercial Duct Installers for a long-term commercial construction project. This position offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent role for qualified candidates. We are seeking dependable professionals with strong commercial HVAC and sheet metal experience who can work independently and contribute to a productive jobsite.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of commercial sheet metal or duct installation experience
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and duct installation practices
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Ability to lift, carry, and position duct materials throughout the workday
Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and secure commercial duct systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings
- Measure, cut, and fit duct components to project specifications
- Ensure proper alignment, sealing, and support of ductwork
- Maintain compliance with all jobsite safety requirements
- Work effectively with project supervisors and other trades to meet project schedules
