About The Position

The Commercial Driver delivers automotive parts to commercial customers using company-provided vehicles. The role focuses on safe, timely, and accurate deliveries, customer service, and collaboration with store teams and commercial accounts. Drivers also collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors, process customer payments, and maintain delivery vehicles. No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and comply with AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Must be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• A valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Provide WOW! Customer Service to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, offer clear and professional automotive advice, and offer installation services.
• Collaborate with store personnel and commercial accounts to support teamwork and strong customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations, meet time and accuracy goals, and follow company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles to deliver automotive parts safely and on time.
• Load and unload parts accurately according to route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Follow PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies.
• Process customer payments securely and according to company policies.
• Stay informed about promotions and automotive products using AutoZone systems.
• Maintain delivery vehicles and promptly report any issues.
