Commercial Driver – Part Time

About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a part-time Commercial Driver to deliver automotive parts to commercial customers using company-provided vehicles. The role supports AutoZone’s store teams by providing customer service, maintaining efficient delivery operations, and helping customers with automotive products and advice. A CDL is not required. Drivers also collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors, handle customer payments, and help maintain delivery vehicles. The position requires safe driving, compliance with fleet safety policies and PPE guidelines, and the ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver’s license and comply with AutoZone driver safety requirements.
Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Previous experience in automotive retail.
Valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

Provide WOW! customer service to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, including clear, professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
Work with store personnel and commercial accounts to support team coordination and customer relationships.
Meet delivery time and accuracy goals while following company policies and processes.
Drive company-provided vehicles to deliver automotive parts safely and on time.
Load and unload parts accurately according to route schedules.
Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
Follow PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies.
Process customer payments securely and according to company policies.
Stay informed about promotions and automotive products using AutoZone systems.
Maintain delivery vehicles and promptly report issues.
