About The Position

The Commercial Driver delivers automotive parts to commercial customers using company-provided vehicles. The role supports AutoZone’s customer-first service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing automotive advice, and offering installation services. Drivers load and unload parts, follow route schedules, collect returns and pickups, process customer payments, and maintain safe and efficient delivery operations. The position also involves keeping current on automotive products and promotions, maintaining delivery vehicles, and reporting vehicle issues. No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and comply with AutoZone driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Must be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• A valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! Customer Service to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, including clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
• Collaborate with store personnel and commercial accounts to support teamwork and customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations and meet time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles to make safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers.
• Load and unload parts accurately according to route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Follow personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines and fleet safety policies.
• Process customer payments securely and according to company policies.
• Stay informed about promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems.
• Maintain delivery vehicles and promptly report any issues.
