About The Position

The Commercial Driver delivers automotive parts to commercial customers using company-provided vehicles. The role requires safe and timely driving, accurate loading and unloading according to route schedules, and collecting returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors. Drivers provide customer service and automotive advice, process payments, follow company safety and PPE policies, and maintain delivery vehicles while reporting issues. No Commercial Driver’s License is required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and comply with AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Must be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• A valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! Customer Service to commercial customers and DIY shoppers through clear, professional communication, automotive advice, and offers of installation services.
• Work with store personnel and commercial accounts to support collaboration and maintain customer relationships.
• Conduct delivery operations efficiently, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles safely and deliver automotive parts to commercial customers on time.
• Load and unload parts accurately according to route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Follow PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies.
• Process customer payments securely and according to company policies.
• Stay informed about promotions and automotive products using AutoZone systems.
• Maintain delivery vehicles and promptly report any issues.
