About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service and support customers with automotive parts and solutions. As a part-time Commercial Driver, you will use safe driving skills to deliver automotive parts to commercial customers in a company-provided vehicle. The role does not require a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). You will also support customer service, store operations, returns and pickups, payment processing, and vehicle maintenance.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and comply with AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous automotive retail experience.
• A valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Provide WOW! Customer Service to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, offering clear automotive advice and installation services.
• Work with store personnel and commercial accounts to support team collaboration and customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals and following company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles to deliver automotive parts safely and on time.
• Load and unload parts accurately according to route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Follow PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies.
• Process customer payments securely and according to company policies.
• Stay informed about promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems.
• Maintain delivery vehicles and promptly report any issues.
