Commercial Driver – Part Time

About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a part-time Commercial Driver to deliver automotive parts to commercial customers using company-provided vehicles. The role requires safe driving, accurate loading and unloading, and timely deliveries. Drivers also collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors; process customer payments; support customer service; and maintain delivery vehicles. No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver’s license and comply with AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
Must be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Previous experience in automotive retail.
A valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

Deliver WOW! Customer Service to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, provide clear and professional automotive advice, and offer installation services.
Work with store personnel and commercial accounts to support team collaboration and strong customer relationships.
Maintain efficient delivery operations, meet time and accuracy goals, and follow company policies.
Drive company-provided vehicles to deliver automotive parts safely and on time; load and unload parts accurately according to route schedules.
Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
Follow PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies.
Process customer payments securely and according to company policies.
Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems.
Maintain delivery vehicles and promptly report issues.
