Commercial Driver – Full Time
About The Position
AutoZone is hiring a full-time Commercial Driver to deliver automotive parts to commercial customers using company-provided vehicles. The role focuses on safe and timely deliveries, customer service, accurate handling of merchandise, and coordination with store personnel and commercial accounts. No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required. The position requires a flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. Drivers must follow company safety and PPE requirements, process customer payments securely, collect returns and parts, and maintain delivery vehicles. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and comply with AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
- Must be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
- Must be available for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
- Previous experience in automotive retail.
- Valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.
Responsibilities
- Deliver WOW! Customer Service to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
- Work with store personnel and commercial accounts to support teamwork and maintain customer relationships.
- Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
- Drive company-provided vehicles to make safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers.
- Load and unload parts accurately according to route schedules.
- Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
- Follow PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies.
- Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
- Stay current on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems.
- Maintain delivery vehicles and promptly report issues.
