About The Position

The Commercial Driver delivers automotive parts to commercial customers using company-provided vehicles. The role focuses on safe, timely and accurate deliveries, customer service, and coordination with store personnel and commercial accounts. Drivers load and unload parts, collect returns and pickups, process customer payments, follow safety policies, stay current on automotive products and promotions, and maintain delivery vehicles. No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.

This is a part-time position. Applicants must be at least 18, hold a valid driver’s license, meet AutoZone driver safety requirements, have basic automotive parts knowledge, and be able to lift, load and deliver merchandise. A high school diploma or GED, bilingual communication skills in Spanish and English, automotive retail experience, and a Hazmat endorsement are preferred.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Must be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer service to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, provide clear automotive advice, and offer installation services.
• Coordinate with store personnel and commercial accounts to support teamwork and customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations and meet time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles and safely deliver automotive parts to commercial customers on time.
• Load and unload parts accurately according to route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Follow personal protective equipment guidelines and fleet safety policies.
• Process customer payments securely and according to company policies.
• Stay informed about promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems.
• Maintain delivery vehicles and promptly report any issues.
