About The Position

The Commercial Driver delivers automotive parts to commercial customers using company-provided vehicles. The role focuses on safe, timely, and accurate deliveries, customer service, teamwork with store personnel and commercial accounts, and compliance with company procedures and fleet safety policies. Drivers load and unload merchandise, collect returns and other parts, process payments, stay informed about automotive products and promotions, and maintain vehicles by promptly reporting issues. No commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required. The position requires applicants to be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license, meet AutoZone driver-safety requirements, have basic automotive-parts knowledge, and be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise. A high school diploma or GED, Spanish-English communication skills, automotive retail experience, and a valid Hazmat endorsement are preferred. This is a part-time role. Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Hold a valid driver’s license and comply with AutoZone driver-safety requirements.
Have basic knowledge of automotive parts.
Be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Previous automotive retail experience.
Valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

Deliver WOW! customer service to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, provide clear and professional automotive advice, and offer installation services.
Work with store personnel and commercial accounts to support team collaboration and customer relationships.
Maintain efficient delivery operations and meet time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
Drive company-provided vehicles to deliver automotive parts safely and on time.
Load and unload parts accurately according to route schedules.
Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
Follow personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines and fleet safety policies.
Process customer payments securely and according to company policies.
Stay informed about promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems.
Maintain delivery vehicles and promptly report vehicle issues.
