About The Position

The Commercial Driver delivers automotive parts to commercial customers using company-provided vehicles. The role focuses on safe, timely, and accurate deliveries while providing WOW! Customer Service, communicating professionally with customers, and supporting store and commercial account teams. No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required. The position also includes loading and unloading merchandise, collecting returns and parts, processing customer payments, staying informed about automotive products and promotions, and maintaining delivery vehicles. The role requires a valid driver’s license, basic automotive parts knowledge, the ability to handle merchandise, and a flexible full-time schedule that may include mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver’s license and comply with AutoZone driver safety requirements.
Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
Must be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
Must be available for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Previous experience in automotive retail.
Valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

Provide WOW! Customer Service and professional automotive advice to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, including offering installation services.
Coordinate with store personnel and commercial accounts to support teamwork and customer relationships.
Maintain efficient delivery operations and meet time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
Drive company-provided vehicles to deliver automotive parts safely and on time.
Load and unload parts accurately according to route schedules.
Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
Follow PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies.
Process customer payments securely and according to company policies.
Stay informed about promotions and automotive products using AutoZone systems.
Maintain delivery vehicles and promptly report any issues.
