Commercial Driver – Part Time

About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service and automotive solutions while supporting store operations and sales. As a part-time Commercial Driver, you will deliver automotive parts to commercial customers using company-provided vehicles; a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is not required. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver’s license and comply with AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Previous experience in automotive retail.
A valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

Provide WOW! Customer Service to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, including clear, professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
Work with store personnel and commercial accounts to support teamwork and maintain customer relationships.
Maintain efficient delivery operations and meet time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
Drive company-provided vehicles to make safe, timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers.
Load and unload parts accurately according to route schedules.
Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
Follow PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies.
Process customer payments securely and according to company policies.
Stay informed about promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems.
Maintain delivery vehicles and promptly report issues.
