Commercial Driver – Part Time

About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a part-time Commercial Driver to deliver automotive parts to commercial customers using company-provided vehicles. The role focuses on safe, timely, and accurate deliveries, customer service, and coordination with store personnel and commercial accounts. Drivers also collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors; process customer payments; follow PPE and fleet safety policies; and maintain vehicles and report issues. No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required. The position requires applicants to be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license and meet AutoZone’s driver safety requirements, have basic automotive-parts knowledge, and be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise. A high school diploma or GED, bilingual Spanish-English communication skills, automotive retail experience, and a valid Hazmat endorsement are preferred. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver’s license and comply with AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
Must be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Deliver WOW! customer service to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, provide clear and professional automotive advice, and offer installation services.
Work with store personnel and commercial accounts to support team collaboration and customer relationships.
Maintain efficient delivery operations, meet time and accuracy goals, and follow company policies.
Drive company-provided vehicles to deliver automotive parts safely and on time; load and unload parts accurately according to route schedules.
Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
Follow PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies.
Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
Stay informed about promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems.
Maintain delivery vehicles and promptly report any issues.
