About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a full-time Commercial Driver to deliver automotive parts to commercial customers using company-provided vehicles. The role focuses on safe, timely and accurate deliveries, customer service, and collaboration with store personnel and commercial accounts. No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required. Drivers also collect returns, cores, and parts; process customer payments; maintain delivery vehicles; and follow fleet safety and PPE policies. The position requires schedule flexibility, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and comply with AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Must be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Must be available for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! Customer Service while engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear automotive advice and offering installation services.
• Collaborate with store personnel and commercial accounts to support teamwork and customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations, meet time and accuracy goals, and follow company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles to deliver automotive parts safely and on time; load and unload parts according to route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Follow PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies.
• Process customer payments securely and according to company policies.
• Stay informed about promotions and automotive products using AutoZone systems.
• Maintain delivery vehicles and promptly report any issues.
