Commercial Driver – Full Time

About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a full-time Commercial Driver to deliver automotive parts to commercial customers using company-provided vehicles. The role is part of a store team focused on customer service, accurate and timely deliveries, and maintaining strong relationships with commercial accounts and store personnel. No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required. The driver also handles returns and pickups, processes customer payments, follows personal protective equipment and fleet safety policies, and helps maintain delivery vehicles. The position requires a valid driver’s license, basic automotive-parts knowledge, the ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise, and availability for a flexible schedule that may include mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver’s license and compliance with AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Previous experience in automotive retail.
Valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

Deliver customer service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing automotive advice, and offering installation services.
Work with store personnel and commercial accounts to support team collaboration and customer relationships.
Meet delivery time and accuracy goals while following company policies and processes.
Drive company-provided vehicles to deliver automotive parts safely and on time.
Load and unload parts accurately according to route schedules.
Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
Follow PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies.
Process customer payments securely and according to company policies.
Stay informed about promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems.
Maintain delivery vehicles and promptly report issues.
