About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a part-time Commercial Driver to deliver automotive parts to commercial customers using company-provided vehicles. The role focuses on safe, timely, and accurate deliveries, customer service, and collaboration with store personnel and commercial accounts. Drivers also load and unload merchandise, collect returns and parts, process payments, follow fleet and PPE safety policies, stay informed about products and promotions, and report vehicle issues. A CDL is not required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and comply with AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Must be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! customer service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice, and offering installation services.
• Work with store personnel and commercial accounts to support team collaboration and strong customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations and meet time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles and safely and promptly deliver automotive parts to commercial customers.
• Load and unload parts accurately according to route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Follow PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies.
• Process customer payments securely and according to company policies.
• Stay up to date on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems.
• Maintain delivery vehicles and promptly report any issues.
