About The Position

The Commercial Driver delivers automotive parts to commercial customers using company-provided vehicles. The role requires safe driving, accurate and timely deliveries, loading and unloading merchandise, and collecting returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors. No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.

The driver provides customer service to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, communicates professionally, and works with store personnel and commercial accounts. The position also involves processing payments, following delivery and fleet safety policies, using AutoZone systems to stay informed about products and promotions, and maintaining delivery vehicles and reporting issues. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule that may include mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with AutoZone driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous automotive retail experience.
• Valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! customer service to commercial customers and DIY shoppers; provide clear, professional automotive advice and offer installation services.
• Collaborate with store personnel and commercial accounts to support teamwork and customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles and safely deliver automotive parts to commercial customers on time.
• Load and unload parts accurately according to route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Follow personal protective equipment guidelines and fleet safety policies.
• Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
• Stay informed about promotions and automotive products using AutoZone systems.
• Maintain delivery vehicles and promptly report any issues.
