World Oil Transportation is seeking a Commercial Driver with a CLASS A CDL for a Full-Time position in Bakersfield. This role involves picking up and delivering hazardous waste and/or materials such as crude oil, gas oil, and other products to various customer locations, potentially including the operation of a cargo tank. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
Commercial Class A Driver's License with Hazmat, TSA, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements
At least 2 year of experience driving a commercial vehicle and maintaining a Commercial Class A driver's license required
Manual and Automatic Transmission required
Ability to lift up to 50LBS.

Responsibilities

Operates commercial motor vehicle and associated equipment safety.
Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Complies with all required statutory, regulatory requirements, and company policy.
Completes appropriate paperwork and forms, including but not limited to manifest, shipping, and receiving documents.
Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor at all times on shift.
Loads and unloads truck, which may include hazardous waste and/or materials.
Communicates with customers, supervisors, and other employees effectively.
Uses good judgment in making decision, in emergency and routine situations.
