About The Position

The company is a leader in the distribution, installation, maintenance, and repair of a complete range of commercial, industrial, and residential door, docking, and security products, celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2026. DH Pace Company, Inc. in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking Commercial Door Technicians to install and/or repair commercial doors and door related products in Corpus Christi and the surrounding areas. This includes working with roll-up doors (dock doors), high-speed doors, door hardware, dock equipment, and dock levelers. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role or in skilled trades within the commercial construction industry.

Requirements

• Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds
• Ability to work at heights and use a ladder
• Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma/GED (Preferred)
• Experience in a similar role or one that required a mechanical aptitude preferred

Responsibilities

• Install and/or repair a wide range of commercial door and door hardware including roll up doors also known as dock doors, dock equipment, high speed rolling doors and commercial entry doors
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
• Track and maintain job related paperwork and submitting in a timely manner
• Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
• Other duties as assigned
