Cut length and width of commercial wood doors and rerail and edge band the same as required to meet customer requirements while adhering to and understanding safety policies and regulations. Perform all job operations in a safe manner in accordance with company safety policies. Read work tickets using product knowledge and reading skills. Immediately after receiving work tickets read, prioritize and set-up schedule (daily). Coordinate necessary door slabs using work tickets and trade skills for specified product line. Cut door slab width and length as required to meet dimensions specified on work ticket. Re-rail, glue and edge band each door slab as required. Bevel edges of door slab as required. Inspect finished product for quality using product knowledge and work ticket. Report all damaged material to the Commercial Door Shop Supervisor so that it may be recorded, in order to maintain accurate inventory records. Mark damaged material with label supplied by the supervisor. Move Products to designated Staging Area for the next machining operation within Dept 19. Assist in the shop housekeeping i.e. sweeping, storing, cleaning. Must understand how to complete and locate orders in the system.
