About The Position

Quantum Lift is seeking Full-Time Door & Dock Field Mechanics for our Warren, MI location. This role offers Monday-Friday, first-shift hours, averaging 40 – 45 hours per week with opportunities for overtime. Overtime and Weekends Availability Required. Our Dock and Door Mechanics are responsible for on-site client installations, repairs, and maintenance of all brands of sectional doors, rolling doors, entry doors, and dock equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, air-powered, and edge-of-dock plates. Overtime and Weekends Availability Required. Requirements

  • Possess a Strong Mechanical Background and Basic Electrical and Hydraulics Understanding
  • Minimum of 2 years of Welding Experience
  • Can Provide Basic Tools
  • Can pass a Drug Screening
  • Have Good Customer Relations Skills with Clear and Concise Language Skills
  • Enjoy being part of a Team, but can Work Independently
  • Utilize Technology such as a Laptop or Tablet
  • Have a Valid Driver’s License in Good Standing
  • Have a Strong Mechanical Aptitude and Abilities
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds due to Lift and Move Functions

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and Repair Industrial Overhead Doors, Dock Levelers, Dock Locks, and other Dock Related Equipment
  • Communicating Effectively any Needed Repairs with Customers
  • Complete Work Orders in a Timely Manner
  • Coordinate with Parts and Service Department Daily
  • Keep Work Van Clean and Stocked with Necessary Supplies
  • Comply with all Safety Procedures within Quantum Lift's Guidelines
  • Consistently and Reliably attend Shift Ready to Work when Scheduled
  • Perform any Other Duties as Assigned
