About The Position

As Commercial Director of OEM's North America, you will serve as the primary PPG representative to our dynamic customer base while driving profitable growth for both our clients and PPG. In this strategic role, you will lead sales efforts across all relevant PPG technologies and services as a key member of the Americas regional leadership team. You will be directly accountable for top and bottom-line financial performance while developing sustainable, long-term partnerships with high-growth-potential customer accounts. Reporting to the Vice President of Automotive OEM Americas, we offer flexible location options in Detroit, MI, Cleveland, OH, or Pittsburgh, PA. Requirements

  • 10+ years of commercial experience in a leadership role with authentic leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and customer relationship experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.
  • Experience working across multiple regions and cultures.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with large OEM's and coatings technology is beneficial.
  • Available for travel up to 50%

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for growth performance; revenue and profitability
  • Develop and execute the global account strategy involving the full PPG product portfolio.
  • Create value selling approach for the customer.
  • Coordinate with strategic marketing to match PPG and customer strategy.
  • Establish customer contacts across all levels and departments and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Lead central negotiation and pricing, develop pricing strategy following internal goals.
  • Determine the need for new products and coordinate the projects internally.
  • Build and manage the pipeline.
  • Establish financial reports of accounts.
  • Demand Forecast and Contract Management.
  • Approval Management in coordination with customer engineering (PPG)
  • Lead the regional account team in strategy definition and execution.
  • Collect voice of customer and understand competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with the local and global Optima Service organization to meet customer expectations.
