III, you will connect and collaborate with key business partners on deal terms and structures and contribute to the development of economic analysis of commercial opportunities by suggesting creative ideas and innovative solutions. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, economics or relevant field
  • Minimum seven (7) years’ commercial experience
  • Understands natural gas market fundamentals
  • Demonstrates a general understanding of financial derivatives
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Possesses a background in managing operational or commercial natural gas assets
  • Possesses experience with direct customer interaction and B2B sales
  • Demonstrates the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to understand contract details and resulting business impacts
  • Demonstrates understanding of energy market fundamentals and economics, including commodity pricing, basin market fundamentals and competitor strategies and actions
  • Knowledge of all components of a deal structure, including risks and deal value
  • Previous commercial experience with proficiency in economics, marketing practices and contracting
  • Understanding of the energy industry

  • Experience as a gas scheduler
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

  • Identifies and pursues opportunities to expand existing accounts and asset footprints
  • Participates in tradeshows/exhibits to promote Williams brand and services
  • Supports closure of all new opportunities with existing customers
  • Interprets and facilitates implementation of agreements and amendments
  • Assists with the negotiation of contract terms for new or modified contracts
  • Works directly with natural gas storage assets
  • Other duties as assigned
