About The Position

Founded in 2011, Twist Bakery Cafe continues to grow and is dedicated to using only the freshest, all-natural ingredients to craft irresistible food. As a boutique bakery, we specialize in scratch-made favorites that cater to those with food allergies and sensitivities. Additionally, we offer a full café menu serving breakfast, lunch, and holiday catering. By meticulously selecting high-quality ingredients and assembling a team that shares our vision, we are committed to connecting people with the food they love, one meal at a time. With locations in Millis and Burlington, Massachusetts, we are excited to invite a Commercial Delivery Van Driver to join our team. We are in search of a Commercial Delivery Van Driver to transport our baked goods between our Millis and Burlington locations and our warehouse in Needham.

Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial vehicle delivery.
• Proficiency in utilizing a hand truck and other delivery aids.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug testing and physical examination.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Some flexibility with working hours required; typical workdays are Monday 8am-12pm, Wednesday 8am-2pm, and Friday 8am-2pm, with occasional additional hours and/or days for holiday.

Responsibilities

• Making timely deliveries between our locations.
• Safely loading and unloading products from our delivery van, using hand carts and other delivery aids.
• Adhering to all safety guidelines, including transporting products in various weather conditions.
• Handling our products with the utmost care during deliveries.
• Representing the Twist brand with professionalism, offering friendly customer service, driving responsibly, and displaying courtesy in every interaction.
