About The Position

CAMS is seeking part-time professional cleaners for a large-scale Del Webb community in Wilmington, NC. The cleaners will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the amenity center areas and will report to the on-site Facility Manager. Two shifts are available: Thursday - Saturday from 4pm-10pm (18 hours/week) or Sunday - Wednesday from 5am-10am (20 hours/week). The pay rate is a firm $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in commercial cleaning preferred
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and supplies
Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
Teamwork and ability to follow schedules in a multi-area environment
Knowledge of infection control and waste management practices
Reliable transportation
Ability to work flexible hours

Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning of fitness rooms, locker areas, showers, and restrooms, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Vacuum, mop, and sanitize floors; clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces (door handles, equipment, mats).
Maintain cleanliness of shared equipment and storage areas.
Manage waste disposal in compliance with facility protocols.
Replenish supplies (soap, paper towels, cleaning chemicals) as needed.
Report maintenance issues (e.g., plumbing leaks, broken fixtures) promptly.
Perform minor maintenance tasks (e.g., replacing batteries, replacing light bulbs).
Follow all safety and sanitation protocols.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meeting cleaning schedules and quality standards.
Assist with room setup and takedown for scheduled uses as needed.
Support events and activities as requested.
Serve as a backup when the Facilities Manager is off.
Other duties to support the community as assigned by the Facilities Manager.
