Commercial Cooking Technician
About The Position
K&D Factory Service is seeking experienced Commercial Kitchen Service Technicians (Hot side) with 2+ years of industry or related experience to join their team. K&D specializes in the repair of commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and food service equipment for various institutions across Pennsylvania. The role involves performing dispatched service calls, diagnosing and repairing issues on commercial equipment, and providing excellent customer service. Technicians will operate company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment, and must be able to work an on-call schedule, which includes overtime.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment or in a related industry
- Strong Knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems
- Driving record must align with our safety standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset
- Must be 18 years of age
- Completion of a Successful background check and drug screen
Nice To Haves
- CFESA Certification or manufacturer training is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Perform dispatched service calls
- Diagnose and repair service issues on commercial equipment
- Report all service activities accurately on the tablet after every call
- Provide an excellent customer experience
- Operate and manage company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment according to company guidelines
- Work on-call schedule
