About The Position

A global pharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Attorney to support its legal team. This is a fully remote, part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours per week. The hourly rate is $100–$115 per hour, plus benefits.

Requirements

J.D. from an accredited law school
Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
5–8 years of legal experience, including significant commercial contracting experience
Strong drafting, negotiation, and issue-spotting skills
Ability to independently manage a high volume of complex agreements and competing priorities
Strong business judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, healthcare, or another highly regulated industry is preferred
Familiarity with FDA-regulated environments, healthcare compliance, privacy and data protection, technology matters, and pharmaceutical industry contracting practices is also desirable

Responsibilities

Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, consulting and professional services agreements, vendor and supplier contracts, SaaS/software agreements, data-related agreements, distribution agreements, licensing agreements, and procurement contracts
Advise internal stakeholders on contract interpretation, risk allocation, and compliance requirements
Identify legal, regulatory, operational, and commercial risks
Partner with Procurement, Finance, IT, Facilities, Compliance, and other business teams
Provide practical, business-focused legal advice in a highly regulated environment
