About The Position
The Commercial Contract Analyst will be responsible for serving as a consultant within the business on crafting structured commercial agreements. The ability to resolve customer issues and mentor other team members are keys to success!
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum of one (1) year experience (for Analyst II)
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in preparing natural gas midstream and marketing agreements (for Analyst III)
- Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in preparing natural gas midstream, marketing, mergers and acquisitions, and joint venture agreements (for Sr Analyst)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
- Prior experience with contract management systems (e.g. Cobblestone Contract Insight)

- Bachelor's degree in business, energy management, finance, accounting, or paralegal studies (for Analyst II & III)
- Bachelor's degree in business, energy management, finance, accounting, or paralegal studies (for Sr Analyst)
- Strength in communicating with varying audiences
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work, including coordinating with multiple internal partners
Responsibilities
- Prepares and coordinates the creation, redlining, and execution of sophisticated agreements with an emphasis on negotiating terms that improve value and mitigate contractual exposure
- Leads communication with internal and external partners to collaborate on contract and document draft/redline/execution
- Contributes through identifying and leading continuous improvement initiatives, with an eye for tools, ideas, and process improvements to increase efficiencies within the group
- Assists the business to find adequate contract solutions for their customers
- Crafts new contract templates and updates the existing templates on as as-needed basis; makes recommendations to our policies and guidelines for commercial contracts
- Collaborates with various partners with new business development opportunities and/or special projects
- Other duties as assigned
