About The Position

This is a commercial construction project in Dayton, OH, with the possibility of continued work if willing to travel. Qualified candidates must live within a commutable distance to Dayton, OH.

Requirements

• 5 plus years of construction experience, ideally in commercial construction; multiple divisions are preferred.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and renderings.
• Must be available via phone and/or e-mail for extended work hours, including weekends.
• Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Daily review of compliance with the plans and perform quality control reviews of subcontractors’ work.
• Review, understand, and enforce schedule obligations.
• Daily coordination of multiple tasks/trades simultaneously and identification of conflicts of work conditions.
• Maintain daily log, track and report construction activity on the jobsite.
• Timely identification of potential change order and/or gaps in scopes of work.
• Receive, inspect, and verify material deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Ensure jobsite is kept clean and organized.
• Enforce OSHA and Company safety policies and procedures.
