About The Position

This role involves managing all phases of commercial construction projects, from initial planning and budgeting to scheduling and final execution. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams. Key duties include developing and maintaining project schedules to ensure timely delivery, monitoring project budgets, tracking costs, and implementing effective cost-control measures. The role also requires reviewing and interpreting construction drawings, contracts, and specifications, ensuring strict compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards. Regular site visits and oversight of construction progress are essential, as is the ability to identify potential risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies. The Project Manager will lead project meetings, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and manage subcontractor performance, contracts, and deliverables.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of experience in commercial construction project management
  • Proven experience managing ground-up and/or tenant improvement (TI) projects
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systems
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera)
  • Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and cost control processes
  • Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and permitting processes
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
