About The Position

What You'll Do: Prepare detailed cost estimates based on construction drawings, specifications, and project scope. Perform quantity takeoffs, pricing analysis, and cost studies for assigned scopes of work. Develop and assemble competitive bids and proposals (lump sum, GMP, and cost-plus). Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to obtain and evaluate pricing. Serve as liaison between project teams, architects, engineers, and clients during preconstruction. Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving alternatives. Review plans and specifications for constructability, scope gaps, and risk factors. Maintain organized documentation and manage bid packages and estimate records. Support project handoff to operations and assist with budget validation and buyout. Mentor junior estimators or support staff as needed. What You Bring: 5–10+ years of commercial construction estimating experience (GC experience preferred). Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building systems. Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Proficiency with estimating software and tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office. Experience preparing bids across multiple contract types and project sizes. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Requirements
