About The Position

Nexodus Clean is expanding its independent contractor provider network and is seeking dedicated, reliable cleaning professionals to service designated commercial and industrial facilities under an independent contractor agreement. This is not an employment position: providers operate as independent 1099 contractors, using their own methods, equipment, and schedule within the scope of each service agreement. Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning, custodial work, or facilities maintenance is preferred.

Providers may perform general cleaning, floor care, restroom and common-area cleaning, and minor facility upkeep. Additional tasks, such as painting touch-ups or light repairs, may be included when agreed upon. Providers are responsible for their own tools, transportation, and supplies unless otherwise specified in the service agreement. The listed pay rate is $25 to $30 per hour.

Requirements

• Ability to safely and effectively operate cleaning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to service quality standards.
• Physical capability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for the duration of a service visit.
• Dependable, self-directed work style consistent with independent contractor status.
• Providers are responsible for their own tools, transportation, and supplies unless otherwise specified in the service agreement.

Nice To Haves

• Prior janitorial, custodial, or facilities-maintenance experience, especially commercial or industrial, is preferred.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing and stripping is a plus.
• Residential painting or industrial cleaning experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning services, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across designated areas.
• Provide floor care services such as buffing, polishing, and stripping.
• Use the provider’s own cleaning equipment and supplies for commercial- or industrial-grade tasks.
• Service restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other common areas to hygiene and presentation standards.
• Perform minor facility upkeep tasks as scoped in the service agreement.
• Adhere to site safety protocols while performing services.
• Perform additional scoped tasks such as painting touch-ups or light repairs, where agreed.
