About The Position

AMR US INC is seeking a driven and experienced Area Manager to lead commercial cleaning operations in Rockville, Maryland. The role oversees a territory with multiple client sites, manages cleaning teams, and ensures high-quality service and customer satisfaction. The Area Manager also supports account growth and business development. The company provides a vehicle for work-related transportation and a credit card for authorized business expenses. The salary range is $60,000–$80,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in commercial janitorial services, specifically managing commercial cleaning accounts.
At least 3 years of management or supervisory experience.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
Strong leadership skills, including the ability to manage, motivate, and develop cleaning teams.
Experience training employees, implementing cleaning procedures, and maintaining quality control standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly when communicating professionally with facility managers, clients, and internal leadership.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Ability to oversee multiple commercial accounts, ensure client satisfaction, and maintain operational efficiency.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree preferred.
Hospitality cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day commercial cleaning operations across multiple client sites within the assigned area.
Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise janitorial and cleaning staff.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality control audits to maintain service standards.
Serve as the primary point of contact for client accounts, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Enforce safety protocols, OSHA standards, and company policies.
Identify opportunities for account growth and support business development efforts.
