Requirements

  • Experience supervising cleaning teams or similar operational roles
  • Strong leadership and people‑management skills
  • Clear communication and solid problem‑solving abilities
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Understanding of safety procedures and industry best practices
  • Minimum one year of supervisory or management experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable vehicle and active auto insurance

Responsibilities

  • Lead Daily Operations - Participate in the 4:00 PM manager meeting to review staffing needs, budgets, quality expectations, and work orders. Provide hands‑on training for new cleaners, site leads, and support staff. All new hires must receive at least three days of structured training.
  • Support and Develop Employees - Build strong relationships with frontline team members by treating them with respect and fairness. Ensure they have the tools they need, hold them accountable to standards, and offer clear, encouraging feedback.
  • Maintain Quality Standards - Oversee cleaning performance across assigned buildings. Conduct routine inspections, follow each site's scope of work, and quickly address any issues to keep clients satisfied.
  • Promote Workplace Safety - Perform safety walkthroughs to identify hazards, confirm proper PPE use, and verify that safety data sheets are visible and accessible for staff and clients.
  • Keep Operations Efficient - Ensure consistent service delivery, distribute supplies and equipment as needed, and manage labor hours to stay within budget.
  • Communicate and Report - Submit nightly updates covering team concerns, maintenance needs, supply levels, quality observations, and opportunities for additional services. Prepare all required documentation for the daily manager meeting.
