About The Position
Curtis Lumber's Ballston Spa location is seeking to immediately fill a Commercial Cleaner position. This role involves cleaning a large retail building, corporate office, and other grounds buildings after hours. The responsibilities include dusting displays, cleaning bathrooms, garbage removal, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and floor waxing/stripping. Requirements
- Cleaning a large retail building, corporate office, and other buildings on the grounds after hours.
- Dusting the displays in multiple areas throughout the building.
- Cleaning bathrooms.
- Garbage removal.
- Mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, waxing, and stripping floors.
Responsibilities
- General cleaning of the various buildings including:
- Sweeping, washing, stripping, and waxing floors
- Emptying trash
- Clean and vacuum carpets
- Cleaning doors and windows
- Dusting
- Maintaining restrooms-daily
- Emptying recyclables
- Make recommendations for repair and improvements to buildings, grounds, and equipment
- Determines appropriate cleaning materials, supplies, tools, and equipment need to accomplish job
- General cleaning of all other areas for which staff is responsible for
- Ensure that Company property and equipment is properly handled and maintained
