About The Position
A growing commercial specialty contractor in Raleigh is hiring an experienced Acoustic Ceiling Installer. This is a stable, growing company to build a career with. The role involves installing suspended ceiling grid and acoustical tile systems, measuring and cutting materials to project specifications, reading project drawings and specifications, troubleshooting ceiling systems, and coordinating with project managers and other trades on job sites.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of commercial acoustical ceiling installation experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer
Responsibilities
- Install suspended ceiling grid and acoustical tile systems
- Measure and cut grid/tile to project specs
- Read project drawings/specifications and troubleshoot ceiling systems
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades on job sites
