About The Position

Skillforce is hiring multiple Commercial Carpenters for ongoing renovation project work in the Charlottesville, VA. You'll work across multiple buildings — commercial spaces and multifamily/dorm-style housing — on bathroom renovations, demo, flooring, framing, and light trim. Service carpenters, framers, and commercial remodelers all welcome.

Requirements

• 2+ years carpentry experience in commercial or multifamily renovation
• Own your basic hand and power tools (hammer, drill, circular saw, tape, level, square)
• Reliable transportation
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Bathroom renovation — tearout, framing, and rough-in install
• Demolition of finishes, fixtures, and partitions
• Rough framing, blocking, and partition work
• Flooring work (subfloor, underlayment, finish flooring)
• Light trim — base, casing, door installs
• Work cleanly and professionally in occupied buildings
