We're currently seeking an experienced Commercial Carpenter for an active retail construction project at a Hannaford location in Rockland, Maine for our trusted customer. Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial carpentry experience preferred
- Experience working in active retail or commercial environments is a plus
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Ability to read plans and work independently
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (training available if needed)
Responsibilities
- Perform commercial carpentry work on renovation and construction projects
- Layout, framing, blocking, drywall, and finish carpentry as required
- Install doors, hardware, fixtures, and millwork
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and fellow tradespeople
- Follow all OSHA and site safety requirements
