About The Position

This position is responsible for developing new commercial and multi-family opportunities in the SouthEast Region. The individual will work closely with the Commercial Service Manager and the Commercial Estimating Team to cultivate relationships with general contractors, property management groups, and construction managers in the commercial and multi-family segments.

Requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of markets and clients
  • Organized with attention to detail
  • Strong business sense and industry knowledge
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • 5+ years of new business development experience, preferably in construction or building materials
  • Thorough knowledge of roofing, siding and gutters
  • Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing an existing sales pipeline and developing new commercial and multi-family project opportunities.
  • Monitor and evaluate trends in the commercial construction and multi-family development sectors, identifying market drivers and regularly collaborating with management and stakeholders to shape sales strategy.
  • Generate qualified leads and pursue decision-makers such as project managers, property developers, and commercial general contractors.
  • Communicate project specifications and commercial design requirements to the Estimating Department for accurate pricing and proposals.
  • Maintain deep awareness of industry developments, especially within the commercial roofing, siding, and gutter space.
  • Actively participate in industry networking events, trade associations, and professional organizations to expand market presence and cultivate new commercial relationships
  • Support the development of proposals and participate in client presentations, effectively communicating project scope and the company’s value proposition.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and identifying future project opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
