Commercial Banking Portfolio Coordinator | Military Boots to Banking - Veteran Initiative
About The Position
Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Banking Portfolio Coordinator as part of the Wholesale Lending Operations/Commercial Banking Operations division. This job is responsible for spreading business financial statements using prescribed financial analysis software. In this role, you will review credit information of loans for companies and industries including reading and understanding accounting within various financial statements. You will also respond to customer inquiries, generate status reports for management or bankers, and contact available sources of information. Additionally, you will perform moderately complex credit investigations on companies and industries and receive direction from a Commercial Banking Portfolio Management supervisor, escalating noncompliant issues. You will ensure credit files are current and interact with the immediate team and Commercial Banking Portfolio Management functional area to review the process of companies for providing credits.
Requirements
- 1+ years of financial analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Ability to read and interpret financial statements
- Experience analyzing Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Balance Sheet and Income Statements, Tax Returns
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Candidate must be based out of posted location
- Ability to work additional hours as needed

- Military experience involving analysis and evaluation of complex information, such as intelligence analysis, operational planning, logistics, finance management, or resource oversight, with responsibility for assessing risk, validating data accuracy, and supporting leadership decision‑making
- Military experience operating in regulated or accountability‑driven environments, including maintaining complete and accurate records, following established procedures, escalating issues when standards are not met, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to support mission or operational outcomes
- Accounting or finance experience
- Experience with one or a combination of the following systems: Credit View; Electronic Reporting and Compliance (ETRAC); FLO; EZ Request (EZR); Wholesale Banking Reporting System (WBRS); Business Lending and Sales Tracking (BLAST); Store Vision Platform (SVP); Hogan; Automated Financial Systems (AFS) or Imaging and Content Management Platform (ICMP); nCino
