About The Position
Cottingham & Butler Claims Services is seeking an experienced Claims Supervisor to join their team. The role involves managing a team of Auto/Liability Adjusters, overseeing their training and development, and ensuring they provide a high level of service. The supervisor will also be responsible for ensuring claims handling complies with all applicable statutes, regulations, legal requirements, company procedures, and policies. Key claims handling activities include investigation, taking statements, estimating damages, determining liability, denying claims, subrogation, and litigation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial auto liability adjusting experience
- 1-5 years of management experience
Responsibilities
- Supervising a team of Auto/Liability Adjusters
- Coordinating training and development for the claims team
- Ensuring claims handling is conducted in compliance with applicable statutes, regulations, and other legal requirements
- Ensuring all applicable company procedures and policies are followed
