About The Position

Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Auto Claims Examiner to join a team. This role focuses exclusively on property damage claims, with no bodily injury or litigation responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial auto claims, including experience with cargo, in-tow, and total loss claims.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (required).
3+ years of experience handling commercial auto claims, with a focus on property damage.
Experience with cargo, in-tow, and total loss claims.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Flexibility to work PST business hours and travel for conferences or meetings if required.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with salvage platforms and vehicle damage appraisal (preferred).

Responsibilities

Investigating losses and identifying coverage issues.
Handling first and third-party property damage claims, including total loss, fire, theft, and glass claims.
Managing cargo and in-tow claims from start to finish.
Obtaining and reviewing estimates, evidence, reports, and medical records.
Establishing damages and reserves, and processing payments.
Taking recorded statements from insureds, claimants, and witnesses.
Maintaining claim files in accordance with best practices.
Presenting files in roundtable discussions and writing coverage letters.
Obtaining and maintaining all required state adjuster licenses.
