About The Position

Warrior Insurance Network is seeking an experienced Commercial Auto Bodily Injury Claims Specialist to join their team. This role involves investigating and settling automobile bodily injury claims, including complex liability claims with severe injuries that may lead to extended disability or bodily injury, as well as coverage-related litigation. The specialist will also handle property damage/total loss claims, ensuring prompt, courteous, and fair closure while maintaining a reasonable expense factor.

Requirements

  • 5+ years previous Commercial Auto Claims Insurance experience is a must.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication (verbal, written, phone) skills.
  • General working knowledge of policies, file procedures, state rules, and regulations.
  • Ability to pass written examinations where required by state statutes to become a licensed Claims Adjuster.

Nice To Haves

  • Litigation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review and determine the course of action on each assigned file, using technical knowledge and experience to support the final disposition of a loss.
  • Investigate, prepare evaluations, and settle total loss files for insureds and claimants, including obtaining signed titles to resolve salvage.
  • Work directly with internal and external customers to develop evidence and establish facts on assigned claims.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and maintain accurate, relevant documentation of file activity, including coverage, liability, status, and applicable damages.
  • Organize, plan, and prioritize work activities to manage current assignments and ensure prompt claim conclusion.
  • Honor, decline, or negotiate first and third-party liability claims after completing coverage/policy investigation and analysis of damages and liability.
  • Prepare and present claim evaluations for the appropriate settlement authority.
  • Notify the Underwriting Department of any adverse information uncovered during investigations.
  • Be familiar with unfair claim practices in states where the company does business.
  • Conduct business with vendors in a manner that maintains a reasonable expense factor and upholds the company's reputation for quality service.
  • Provide customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Handle other duties as assigned.
