About The Position

The Partners Group (TPG) is seeking a recent college graduate or emerging professional for their IGNITE Program within the Commercial Insurance team in Boise-Meridian, Idaho. The IGNITE Program is designed to launch an insurance career with in-house training, exposure to business units and senior leadership, and mentorship. This role provides hands-on training in client service, preparing individuals for potential career paths in Sales or Client Service. TPG works with numerous well-known brands across various industries. As a Commercial Assistant, you will learn the fundamentals of commercial insurance, including obtaining a Property and Casualty Insurance license, servicing professional insurance needs, utilizing complex Excel formulas, mastering insurance-specific programs and AI technologies, and interacting with business professionals. The ultimate goal is to develop into a Commercial Account Manager, prioritizing client interests by building custom insurance strategies to discover, protect, and enhance their future, while nurturing long-term relationships.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years internship(s) and/or job experience; experience and/or interest in construction, or other industrial-related areas are a plus.
  • Recent completion of a bachelor’s degree or associate degree preferred. At minimum, completion of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Excellent customer relations providing prompt, accurate, and friendly client service.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Word.
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the account management team to provide accurate and timely account management for commercial accounts.
  • Learning and providing professional risk products in accordance with established policies and procedures that will secure key business needs for the full spectrum of commercial businesses.
  • Attending client meetings and educational seminars as requested.
  • Completing administrative tasks, such as filing, tracking lead activity in our Account Management System, handling ingoing and outgoing mail, etc.
