About The Position

T&J Appliance Solutions, a division of T&J Companies, is seeking a Commercial Appliance Technician for their Central and Southern Maine territory. This family-owned company focuses on providing professional, agile, and customer-centric commercial appliance and electrical services, primarily for retail locations throughout the Northeast. The technician will be responsible for responding to customer work orders, traveling to customer locations, troubleshooting, and resolving issues. The company aims to provide fast, reliable service and grow into a top employer.

Requirements

Must have a clean driving record
Willingness to drive up to 2 hours (one way) for service calls
Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and with others
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
High School Diploma or equivalent
Authorized to work in the United States
Pass a drug test and background check prior to starting work

Nice To Haves

Experience maintaining, troubleshooting and replacing TurboChef, Merry Chef, Bunn, Mastrena, Hatco, Clover Vertica, Franke or similar equipment
Knowledge of the Facility Services industry
Refrigeration certification

Responsibilities

Respond to customer work orders as assigned by their service manager.
Travel to and from customer locations to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
View work orders electronically dispatched via phone/iPad the afternoon before to be aware of the next day's schedule.
Take the company vehicle home each night.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
