About The Position

As a Commercial Credit Intern, you will receive an inside look at our fast-paced banking environment. You will sharpen fundamental commercial/credit software skills, broaden your understanding of commercial products/language, learn how Busey identifies and assesses risk factors associated with Commercial Loans, and assist with portfolio management projects. This internship offers opportunities to flex and learn throughout your time at Busey.

Currently enrolled in undergraduate studies with a concentration in: Business, Finance, or related field.
Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Perform research and data clean-up within the Commercial Loan Portfolio using Bank systems.
Gather borrower and industry information.
Assist with analysis of financial information.
Participate in e-learning and classroom training as assigned.
Attend Weekly Loan Committee and Commercial Sales Pipelines Meetings.
Analyze loan packages and collateral files for completeness.
Partner with other departments/associates to expand your understanding of holistic Busey services – all with the intent to best serve our customer.
