About The Position

FanDuel is seeking an Analytics Senior Manager to collaborate closely with the Analytics Director and other strategic owners to strengthen and optimize customer marketing analytics capabilities. This role involves conducting thorough analyses of performance and trends to identify opportunities for improvement, and clearly communicating information and recommendations to support continuous progress. It is a high-impact position that will interface with many areas of the organization across Commercial, Marketing, and Analytics, and will manage key initiatives to unlock step-change business improvements. In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company to ensure operational flexibility and meet evolving business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a highly numerate major (Math, Stats, Econ, etc.) or relevant experience in data and/or business analysis
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience in an analytical, technical or commercial field
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling, A/B testing, and experimental design
  • Demonstrated experience using data visualization software to convey analysis in an easy to digest format.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills - demonstrable track record of influencing up, down and across organizations

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience working with Tableau for data visualization
  • Knowledge of sports and/or experience working within a heavily regulated industry is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth performance analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs and opportunities areas.
  • Use this information to make data-driven recommendations for improving marketing strategies.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
  • Regularly report on performance, identify areas for improvement, and propose adjustments as needed.
  • Provide support for CRM target selections via automated tools and proactively identify opportunities to streamline and automate manual processes.
  • Partner with marketing, commercial and analytics teams to ensure appropriate prioritization and seamless execution of strategies.
  • Provide strategic guidance and insights to all stakeholders to support the growth of the business.
  • Lead and manage key analytics initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring timely and efficient execution of projects.
