About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide advice and guidance to senior management on commercial-risk initiatives, helping to shape the direction and success of our organization. This role requires a deep understanding of industry trends, strong analytical skills, and the ability to develop and implement effective strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Engineering, Commercial Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of combined experience in the Engineering and Construction industry, either in Project Management, Contract Management, Engineering Management, Risk Management, Project Controls Management or Procurement Management.
  • Proven experience in a strategic advisory role, preferably within the industry.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take the initiative.
  • Ability to understand and consistently meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop innovative business management solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Commercial-Risk team in the development and measurement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and related data collection and modelling.
  • Provides cross‑functional delivery across contract administration, claims, intellectual property and procurement, partnering with technical, risk, legal, and finance functions to manage risk and ensure effective contract management across projects.
  • Assist with scenario planning and benchmarking to outline paths available for consideration.
  • Assist with quarterly and annual reporting deliverables.
  • Create roadmap for achieving long-term targets and identify milestones along the way.
  • Analyse metrics to evaluate current processes, identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Develop and deliver scorecards and other indicators.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
