About The Position

The Senior Commercial Analyst will assist the Finance Director and other accounting and finance departments in implementing strong processes, systems, and procedures to drive efficiencies and high-quality financial reporting. This role involves collaborating cross-functionally with other teams (IT, accounting and finance, etc.) in system and process implementation projects. The analyst will be responsible for quarterly and monthly financial reports, implementing and working with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reports, and improving performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies. Key responsibilities include analyzing complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management, providing site-level financial support to operations (including reporting, financial variances, and cost expectations), and conducting evaluations for cost reduction opportunities with site-level variance reviews. The role also entails monthly analysis of current month results and forward-looking forecasts, including a gap closing plan if necessary, and assisting the Finance Director with budget, estimate, and forecasting processes by formulating strategic and long-term business plans. Additionally, the analyst will support global requests and reporting, prepare and present client-facing documentation, monthly governance results, and required reporting, and act as the primary financial client liaison for assigned accounts. The position also involves handling client ad-hoc requests, including detailed data requests and pricing, supporting audit requests, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Special projects as needed are also part of the role.

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on capacity
Experience interfacing at all levels throughout an organization; private sector experience required
Experience with job costing ERP system
Good team player
Able to command credibility and be able to influence
Strong analytical excel skills required

Responsibilities
